About the event
What is Y’ladim BaTeva? Y’ladim BaTeva is a hands-on, Torah-based learning program for children in grades K-8 run by Ma’yan Tikvah. It is a program that takes place outdoors in the woods and focuses on Earth-based eco-Judaism. Y’ladim BaTeva focuses on the individual student using differentiated learning, which is great for all kinds of learners but especially those who can benefit from active, outdoor, experiential learning. It is family-centered and welcomes all kind of families, including interfaith, LGBTQ families and Jews of color to participate in regular family programs. Y’ladim BaTeva intentionally engages children and families in community service projects and acts of advocacy and justice. It is a great alternative to traditional Jewish learning opportunities that not only provides students joyful learning but also encourages teachers to share their passions.
