About the event

Join a leisurely walk with foraging expert Nina Katz to explore the wild edible and medicinal plants growing around us. We will discuss Ma’yan Tikvah’s new Walking the Land project—and how we might combine that with plant hevrutah; and we’ll also learn to recognize the plants and use them, and then use them to make a terroir-accented fire cider vinegar while also looking at a couple of texts and discussing core Jewish ideas about plants and healing. This walk is supported by the Combined Jewish Philanthropies.
