Sustaining Ma'yan Tikvah

Welcome to Ma'yan Tikvah!

We are always delighted to see new faces and to hear fresh thoughts and ideas, so we welcome you and your participation.

Ma'yan Tikvah has no membership fees. We function solely on donations.

We don't have a building, so our expenses are relatively low, but we do have expenses and want to adequately support our rabbi. If you enjoy your experiences with Ma'yan Tikvah, we invite you to help us sustain the organization financially.

On this website, you can explore what Ma'yan Tikvah has to offer. We invite you into discussion about how Ma'yan Tikvah can help meet your spiritual and religious needs, as well as what you feel able to offer to Ma'yan Tikvah.

Most giving falls into one of four categories: Work, Wealth, Wisdom, and Presence. On this page, you can share your wealth by making a tax-deductible donation. We operate on a "more if you can, less if you can't" basis, but to guide you in your giving, you will find below suggested financial contributions.

To donate by check, make it payable to Ma'yan Tikvah and send it to Marianne Doernis-Goldman, 309 Bishops Forest Drive, Waltham, MA, 02452.

To donate online, click on the PayPal donate button on the right side of the page. Please keep in mind that there is a 4% processing fee. We appreciate your adding this amount to your donation.

Please contact Rabbi Katy for more information or to enter into a discussion about anything you find on the Ma'yan Tikvah website.

Designated Donations

Please consider donating either on the occasion of a special event or in memory or honor of someone. You can designate your donation for the General Fund, Torah Scroll Fund, or Rabbi's Discretionary Fund. We currently borrow a Torah scroll for the High Holidays. We have started the Torah Scroll Fund so that we will be able to purchase our own scroll.

T-Shirts  You can also support Ma'yan Tikvah through the purchase a T-shirt with the message, "The Torah Has Many Faces" in both English and Hebrew and pictures of many smiley-type faces. A variety of sizes are available. Shirts are $15. All proceeds go to Ma'yan Tikvah. Contact Gabi Mezger at
